In 2017 I was sick and exhausted and the doctors had me on a rack of meds, four times a day seven days a week. The most pernicious of these was Valium. I spent 14 and a half months successfully getting off ALL the pills, and during that downtime I began to retrain my brain in various ways, including teaching myself how to draw without looking at the paper.”
